With the proliferation of niche restaurants and exploding assortment of quality fast food on the other end of the spectrum, the beleaguered Denny's brand had no appeal to a younger generation. Most millennials have never experienced the diner phenomenon of American Culture. A place where there was no judgements. Where everyone knew your name. Where you saw your neighbors and met strangers. It was a microcosm of what makes America so beautiful. We relaunched the brand with a focus on one truth - America's Diner is always open. Yes, Open 24/7 but more importantly, an atmosphere where you can be comfortable to be yourself.
By reaching our targeted audience mostly using a social platform, Denny's quickly became the number 1 engaged casual dining brand across social media.
